Rebuilding a Front Porch in Ballard.

This was part of the same project  described in the previous post (Transforming a Deck). The fun detail here was installing an arched ceiling on the porch, structural elements are hidden inside. Note that the existing porch was largely reused-roof, deck framing and general framing did not require new materials.

he entire house exterior got a re-work. Much of the original exterior siding was retained however, a testament to the preservative qualities of vinyl siding!

Cabinets at the Pike Place Market (Seattle Cutlery)

Seattle Cutlery is open and fully stocked (a few doors north of the original Starbucks in Pike Place Market)  Right next to Bavarian meats.

Enough knives to equip a Swiss Army, all stocked in 20 cabinets with 45 Drawers. 24 Sliding Doors. 8 moving steel displays. Over 600 feet of angle iron went into the rolling steel panels above the back cabinets.
